Priti Patel, Member of Parliament for Witham, this year hosted her annual Christmas card competition with a record number of entries from local schools. Children from across the constituency submitted festive designs, showcasing their creativity, imagination, and artistic skills. The annual competition hosted every year by Priti Patel, with this year’s theme focussing on “joy around the world”.
After strong competition, Louie from Acorn Academy was selected as the overall winner, with her design chosen to feature on Priti’s official 2025 Christmas card. The winning artwork will now be used on Priti’s Christmas card to be sent to businesses, diplomats, and parliamentarians.
Reflecting on the competition, Priti said:
“I have been delighted to see such an incredible number of entries this year, and the standard has been exceptional. Louie’s winning design is beautiful and captures the festive season with the theme of around the world. I am proud of all the pupils who took part, and I want to thank the teachers and schools who supported the competition and encouraged their students’ creativity.”
