Priti Patel MP has welcomed the news that Astare Restaurant in Witham has been nominated for Chef of the Year at the Annual British Kebab Awards, taking place on 24 February 2026.
Astare’s Head Chef, Ayhan Han, has been recognised for his outstanding culinary skill and contribution to the local hospitality sector. Dame Priti Patel is encouraging residents across Witham and Essex to support the local business by voting for Ayhan Han ahead of the awards.
