Priti Patel, the Member of Parliament for Witham, recently met with her constituents and residents of The Mulberries in Witham, a Redrow development, to discuss ongoing issues regarding the management and maintenance of the estate.
Ms Patel expressed her disappointment that Trinity Estates, the management company responsible for the development, has continued to fail in addressing the key concerns raised by residents about the appalling standard of maintenance on the estate — despite the increased service charges being levied and the numerous complaints made by constituents.
Speaking after the meeting, Ms Patel said:
“I am very disappointed that Trinity Estates has not taken appropriate action to resolve the serious issues raised by residents regarding the poor maintenance of the estate. This is simply not acceptable from either Redrow or Trinity Estates.”
Following a constructive consultation with residents, Redrow, and Trinity Management, Ms Patel welcomed the consensus that the current level of service is not good enough and that communication from both companies has been poor.
She continued:
“I look forward to hearing from Redrow and Trinity Management about the steps they will now take to make the necessary repairs, improve communication with residents, and raise the overall standard of living for those on the estate. The current situation is unacceptable, and residents deserve much better.”
