Thousands of residents across our area are opposed to these terrible plans, and the government are ignoring the alternatives that are being proposed.
These proposals are wrong and unacceptable, and I have been working with campaigners to make sure we continue to oppose the Labour government’s plans. The government has made it easier for decision makers to ignore local people and their concerns, as they push through this rapid plan for expansion of pylons.
I have worked with my constituents against these damaging pylons and against this terrible scheme. We are fighting an uphill battle to protect our communities from these horrendous plans. I will continue to campaign against them and stand up for our beautiful part of Essex.
